Cayenne Challenge

Hello and Welcome

I am posting this layout again, as I had removed it for consideration to Scrapbook Memories magazine, unfortunately it wasn’t accepted.

So I wanted to share with you all, as this is one of my favourite layouts. It features my father with his 4th grandson the day he was born. Such a beautiful memory documented. It is now framed and I gifted it to him for Christmas.

I wanted to show that you can give it a feminine influence with the flowers but still have male elements on the page.

I have used the Dusty Attic Bubbles stencil with Dylusions Postbox Red Spray. I also used the spray to colour my corrugated cardboard.
The red dot paper is from Bo Bunny Elf Magic collection.
I coloured the Scrapmatts chipboard word with Picket Fence Distress Paint.
I have used Dusty Attic flower, small cards and heart embellishment in this cluster

In the top cluster I have attached some washi tape, coloured chipboard, metal heart, bling and Scrapmatts word.

I have torn the paper to attach a zipper embellishment adding paper to the background
I finished off by flicking some spray on the background and colouring some Scrapmatts stars in the Dylusions Post Box Spray and adding Bling from the Bo Bunny Elf Magic embellishments in my stash.
I hope you like my take on this challenge and please comment below.
I look forward to reading them.
Until next time
